Azerbaijan Opens Fire with Heavy Artillery Towards Khachik Village: MoD Elaborates

On July 4, at approximately 21:15, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire using various weapons, including heavy caliber firearms, towards the Armenian combat positions located in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, specifically in the vicinity of Khachik village in the Vayots Dzor region. This assault also targeted the roadway leading to the village, damaging a vehicle belonging to the community leader.

The Armenian side responded effectively, silencing the fire from Azerbaijani units. There were no casualties reported on the Armenian side. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
