Emergency Situations Ministry Reports False Bomb Threat at Embassies
In Yerevan, the report of an explosive device being placed at the embassies of Russia and China has been deemed false. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
“On July 4, at 17:15, the National Crisis Management Center received information that an explosive device was planted at the embassies of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in Armenia. Emergency response units from the city of Yerevan, including one firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a canine unit from the Special Rescue Operations Center, a medical support duty team, and an engineering unit from the Civil Defense Administration, were dispatched to the designated addresses,” the announcement stated.
Employees at the embassies of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China in Armenia reported that no assistance was needed from the rescuers and that no bomb had been found in the area,” the statement concluded.
