Emergency Workers Denied Entry to Embassies Following Bomb Threats: What's the Reason?
Reports were received indicating that bombs had been placed at the embassies of the Russian Federation and China operating in Yerevan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) announced that their rescuers, bomb disposal experts, and police units were on-site in response to the alerts.
The MES press service informed Auroranews that the areas of the embassies are considered special security zones. Permission is required to enter these areas.
A spokesperson for the MES told Auroranews that an employee of the Russian embassy reported no issues were found. As for the Chinese embassy, no further information is available yet.
