Putin Sends Messages to Leaders of Post-Soviet Countries
On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, Vladimir Putin has sent congratulatory messages to the leaders and citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic, as well as to the people of Georgia and Ukraine.
According to Armenpress, referencing the official Kremlin website, the Russian President emphasized in his greetings that on this day we pay tribute to the soldiers and workers on the home front who defeated Nazism at the cost of countless sacrifices and hardships.
"Today, our common duty is to prevent the resurgence of Nazism, which brought so much suffering to the people of various countries. It is essential to preserve and pass on to future generations the truth about the events of wartime, the common spiritual values, and the traditions of fraternal friendship," the messages stated.
