Meeting Between Charles Michel and Ukrainian Prime Minister Interrupted Due to Rocket Attack
European Council President Charles Michel had to interrupt his meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Odesa due to a rocket attack. This was reported by RIA Novosti. According to the EU official, Michel was forced to pause the meeting and seek shelter when "rockets struck the city."
The attack occurred during negotiations with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. "During the meeting with the Prime Minister, participants had to interrupt the meeting in order to take cover, as rockets again fell on Odesa," the official stated.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who joined the negotiations via videoconference, expressed gratitude to Michel for his visit to Ukraine on Victory Day, the anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
