‘This Country is Not an Orphan’s Head’: Chakhoyan on Pashinyan’s Resignation
The Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office, Taron Chakhoyan, has addressed the opposition's claims that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is preparing to resign. Chakhoyan has denied the circulating rumors, emphasizing that the citizens of Armenia made their choice just a year ago.
“Those spreading false news about the Prime Minister’s resignation will sooner see their own behinds than see a resignation. The citizens of Armenia made their choice just a year ago. In the streets of Yerevan, those claiming to save Artsakh are spreading yet another lie to encourage their supporters. I understand that you are exhausted and becoming increasingly few in number, but with such lies and petty tricks, you will only further disappoint your own backers. It’s only a matter of days before your supporters will become disappointed with you, because there will be NO RESIGNATION,” he stated. “P.S. This country is not an orphan’s head that demands resignation and snap elections every year.”
