Vahagn Aleksanyan Calls for Inspection of Shelters to Prevent Another Overdose Incident
A member of the National Assembly from the "Civil Contract" faction, Vahagn Aleksanyan, today called on the police from the parliamentary podium to inspect the "shelters" of opposition members to prevent another overdose incident involving drugs.
"I urge the staff of the Police Anti-Narcotics Unit to enter and check these people's shelters as soon as possible to prevent another incidence of drug overdose, which could potentially have fatal outcomes," he said.
It is noteworthy that on May 5, a 41-year-old man died in France Square, initially suspected to be from a heart attack. According to reports circulating in the media, the man died from a drug overdose.
