Russia Lifts Entry Restrictions for Armenia Starting May 16
Starting May 16, Russia will lift entry restrictions for Russians crossing the state borders of Lugansk and Donetsk, as well as for citizens of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. This was announced to reporters by the operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of coronavirus, as reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the statement, “Based on the results of discussions and taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, it has been decided to remove a number of restrictions on crossing the state border starting May 16, 2022.”
The message also indicated the removal of entry restrictions for Armenian citizens, including at the Russian-Georgian section of the Russian Federation's state border.
