Response from Zelensky's Office to Putin's Statement
The advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, has commented on the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia being in a 'dead end,' as reported by RBK agency.
Podolyak stated that the negotiations are proceeding very difficultly. 'Despite the heavy emotional backdrop, the Ukrainian side is working transparently—defending our values—while the Russian side continues to publicly exert pressure on the process,' said Podolyak, adding that 'the Russian side remains committed to its traditional strategy of publicly pressuring the negotiation process.'
It is noted that earlier, Vladimir Putin stated that 'Kyiv has backed away from the agreements reached in Istanbul, returning the situation to a dead end.'
