Lavrov and Mirzoyan to Meet in Moscow
On April 8, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation and Armenia will take place in Moscow. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing on April 6. Ararat Mirzoyan's visit will be a working one.
According to Maria Zakharova, the foreign ministers will discuss in detail the steps for bilateral cooperation in all areas, integration unions, and other international platforms. A thorough exchange of views will also take place regarding the implementation of the trilateral statements made by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia on November 9, January 11, and November 26, 2020, and 2021.
“We hope that the talks in Moscow will contribute to the deepening of allied cooperation and the advancement of peace and stability in the South Caucasus,” said the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
