Another Condition for Resuming the Nuclear Deal: Iran's Foreign Ministry
Iranian lawmakers have sent a letter to President Ebrahim Raisi outlining the conditions for resuming the 2015 nuclear deal. This was reported by the RBC agency, referencing the Iranian Tasnim news agency. The letter was signed by over 250 parliament members.
The aforementioned conditions include the U.S. refraining from imposing new sanctions against Iran, as well as legal guarantees confirmed by the U.S. Congress that Washington will not withdraw from the agreements.
Additionally, Tehran demands the cancellation of restrictions on the export of Iranian oil.
Another condition for resuming the nuclear deal was previously announced by Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. This is the lifting of sanctions against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which the U.S. considers a foreign terrorist organization.
Raisi stated on Saturday that Iran will not abandon its nuclear program, emphasizing its peaceful nature.
