When Will the Russia-Ukraine Conflict End? Macron Shares His Opinion
French President Emmanuel Macron believes that the conflict in Ukraine will not end in the coming weeks and has called for humanitarian aid for the population. The head of state, who is running for re-election for a second term, made this statement on April 8 during an interview with RTL radio.
"Unfortunately, this conflict will not end anytime soon. I think we will see a very dire situation in Donbas in the coming days and weeks," Macron stated. He emphasized, "We are therefore doing everything we can to organize humanitarian operations in Mariupol and Dnipro with Turkey, Greece, and the United Nations," reported TASS.
