Aliyev and Erdogan Discuss Meeting with Pashinyan
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, had a phone conversation. This information is reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani president.
During the initiated call by Aliyev, they discussed the trilateral meeting on April 6 in Brussels, held with the initiative and participation of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, involving the European Union, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
Aliyev positively assessed the results of the meeting. He emphasized the decisions made regarding the establishment of a working group for the preparation of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including the fundamental principles proposed by Azerbaijan, such as mutual recognition of territorial integrity and the abandonment of territorial claims, as well as the creation of a delimitation commission.
Erdogan also expressed satisfaction with the results achieved.
