Vladimir Zhirinovsky Has Died

After a long and severe illness, Vladimir Zhirinovsky has passed away. Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, announced that the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, has died.

“Vladimir Wolfovich Zhirinovsky has died after a long and severe illness. A bright, talented politician. A man who deeply understood how the world is constructed and predicted many events,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.

The 75-year-old Zhirinovsky was hospitalized due to COVID-19 on February 2. The political figure had been in an induced coma until March 11, which was necessary to preserve the patient’s bodily functions. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.
