35-Year-Old Husband Commits Suicide Hours After 25-Year-Old Wife, Leaving Behind a Note

A tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region on April 8. At around 6:20 PM, the police received a report from the Ijevan Medical Center about a woman who had committed suicide by hanging in one of the villages of Tavush. According to shamshyan.com, it was discovered that on the same day, around 6:00 PM, 25-year-old Araktsyah T. hanged herself from the roof of a barn adjacent to their home. Reports indicate that a note was found in her pocket.

While police and investigators were determining the circumstances of the incident, a second report was received at 8:35 PM from the Ijevan Medical Center about a man who had committed suicide in a similar manner. The same police and investigative teams went to the scene, where it was established that at approximately 8:30 PM, 35-year-old Levon Y. hanged himself from the ceiling of their home’s basement. Reports indicate that the deceased individuals were married, and the husband worked as a bailiff at the enforcement service in Tavush.
