"No one rules out the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Zelensky," Peskov
The Kremlin does not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, but it must be ready for results, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, to journalists.
“No one rules out the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Zelensky. Yes, indeed, it is conceptually possible,” said the Kremlin spokesman.
He also warned that “first, both delegations and ministers must do their part so that the presidents do not meet for the sake of the process and for the sake of conversation, but rather meet for the sake of achieving results.”
“The positions of the Russian side are known; they are clearly defined and presented to the attention of the Ukrainian negotiators. We are waiting for reciprocal formulations,” said Peskov.
