NATO Expects Sanctions Against Russia From All Allies, Stoltenberg Says
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has stated that the alliance expects all allies to impose sanctions against Russia, a signal that has also been conveyed to Turkey. This was reported by CNN Turk.
“Yes, we expect all our allies to impose sanctions. This way, we can make Russia pay the price. I also told Mr. Cavusoglu about this. Turkey plays a key role here,” Stoltenberg said.
Recall that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided on a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR had requested assistance.
