Zelensky on the Likelihood of Starting a Full-Scale War with Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not believe that there is a likelihood of starting a full-scale war with Russia; however, in such a case, he would be ready to impose martial law across the country.
According to TASS, he made this statement during a press conference with Estonian President Alar Karis.
The Ukrainian leader also noted that he has received a proposal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sever diplomatic relations with Russia. “I will consider it,” said Zelensky.
It is worth reminding that late on Monday evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as signing comprehensive agreements with them.
