Zelensky Accepts Proposal for Negotiations from Putin
The leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has accepted the proposal from Russian President Vladimir Putin to conduct negotiations, stated the press secretary of the Ukrainian leader, Sergey Nikiforov.
“I must refute the statements that we have refused negotiations; Ukraine has been and remains ready to talk about a ceasefire and peace,” said Nikiforov.
According to him, Zelensky is prepared to discuss peace and a ceasefire with Moscow. “At this very moment, the parties are consulting on the venue and timing of the negotiations,” Nikiforov reported.
