30-Year-Old Yerevan Man Stabbed Approximately 8 Times in Apartment Courtyard: Details of the Attempted Murder

According to the Investigative Committee, a call was received yesterday, February 10, at the police station of Mashtots from the "Astghik" medical center.

At around 5:25 PM, the medical center reported that a citizen had been admitted with "stab and cut wounds to the shoulder area, the anterior abdominal wall, and the seat area." Specifically, the website notes that as doctors fought for the life of the patient admitted with an extremely severe diagnosis, police determined that the victim was 37-year-old Karen Buniatyan, a resident of Yerevan.

On February 10, at around 3:30 PM, a dispute occurred between K. Buniatyan and 30-year-old Erik Maranyan, also a resident of Yerevan, in an apartment on Tigranian Street. During the altercation, Maranyan stabbed Buniatyan multiple times (approximately 8) in various parts of his body. Police located the suspect, took him into custody, and arrested him.

The knife used in the crime has also been recovered.
