The West Will Turn Away From Armenia: Medvedev Warns Yerevan
Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, has stated that the West will turn away from Armenia as soon as the country ceases to interest them as a "tool against Russia." According to him, the United States and the European Union are not concerned about the welfare of the country's citizens.
"The European Union and the US are absolutely not interested in the well-being of the citizens of the country. The moment Armenia no longer presents interest to them as a tool against Russia, the Western powers will immediately abandon all their promises, as if they had never existed," Medvedev said.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation indicated that the EU and the US would abandon Armenia if the country continues its political alignment with the West.
