Firebird AI Opens $500 Million AI Plant in Hrazdan
The former Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mikitar Hayrapetyan, announced on his Facebook page that the "AI Plant" of Firebird AI has opened in Hrazdan, becoming one of the largest AI infrastructures in the world.
He wrote: "I am thrilled to announce that the Firebird AI's 'AI Plant' has just opened in Hrazdan, which is among the largest AI infrastructures in the world. Long live our beautiful Republic of Armenia!"
It was previously reported that Firebird's artificial intelligence data center, valued at $500 million, will be operational in Hrazdan and is the largest in the region. Following the launch of the second phase of the project, the total amount of investments will reach around $5 billion. As a result, Armenia will rank among the top five countries in the field, transforming into a global hub for artificial intelligence.
