During the discussion, the leaders exchanged thoughts regarding the first anniversary of the Peace Summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025, with the support of U.S. President Donald Trump, where peace was established between the two countries and a preliminary text of a peace agreement was signed.

The parties specifically emphasized the key role of President Donald Trump and the U.S. Government in advancing the peace process. They also noted the progress made in the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the past year.
