Pashinyan and Aliyev Had a Phone Conversation One Year After the Washington Summit

On August 8, 2026, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. During the discussion, the leaders exchanged thoughts regarding the first anniversary of the Peace Summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025, with the support of U.S. President Donald Trump, where peace was established between the two countries and a preliminary text of a peace agreement was signed.
