15 Thousand Dram "Gift" Trap: Fake AMIO Bank Page Attempting to Steal Citizens' Money
The Cyber Police have reported that a fake advertisement mistakenly presenting a supposedly beneficial offer from AMIO Bank and Yandex Eats is circulating on social media. As a result of believing this, citizens find themselves on a fraudulent website that mimics AMIO Bank's online banking page.
Promising a reward of 15,000 Armenian drams, users are required to enter their banking username and password, which is a deception aimed at stealing funds from bank accounts.
Those who have already provided their information are urged to:
- Contact the bank immediately and request to temporarily freeze their account.
- Change their online banking password without delay.
