From August 8-9, a high fire danger situation is anticipated in the Ararat Plain, Yerevan, Shirak Province, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor, as well as in the valleys of Syunik.

On August 8, there will be dry weather in Yerevan, and the same is expected on the 12th. However, from the evening of August 9 and overnight on the 10th and 11th, brief rains and thunderstorms are forecasted, with wind speeds increasing to 18-23 m/s during this period.

From August 8-12, evenings will witness intensifying winds of 15-18 m/s. On August 8, there will be no precipitation across the country. Brief rains and thunderstorms are expected in most regions in the evening of August 9, and from the night of the 10th to the afternoon of the 12th, with heavy rains and possible hail in some areas on the 9th and 11th.

The winds will be from the northeast and east at speeds of 4-7 m/s, while during thunderstorms, gusts of wind could reach 20-25 m/s. From August 8-12, in the evenings in Armavir, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in some areas of Shirak Province, wind speeds will strengthen to 17-20 m/s.

The air temperature is expected to drop by 3-5 degrees during the day on August 10-11.
