No one is interested in the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis, neither Armenia nor Azerbaijan: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that neither side is interested in the further escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. This was reported by the TACC agency.
During a major press conference today, Putin said: “Russia has played a certain role in the resolution of this very serious crisis. No one is interested in the fact that this crisis develops—neither Azerbaijan, nor Armenia, nor, even more so, the inhabitants of Nagorno-Karabakh.”
The Russian president also added: “If we all live peacefully and friendlily, we will create conditions for people’s lives to improve. I mean the normal existence of families, economic and social development, which the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh need, as one cannot constantly live in anxiety that the conflict may recur.”
