Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Statement on European Parliament Members' Initiative
The Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs highly appreciates the letter from 121 members of the European Parliament addressed to the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Council, emphasizing the urgent need for the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war currently being illegally held in Azerbaijan.
This was stated in a message issued by the Artsakh Republic's Foreign Ministry.
"We value the position of European Parliament members to voice the violations of international humanitarian law by Azerbaijan and to defend the legitimate demands of Artsakh. It is an exemplary demonstration of respect for humanitarian values and principles of international law," the statement reads.
