Mass Deaths Recorded Among Residents in Finland Due to Unknown Drug
In Finland, specifically in the cities of Helsinki and Turku, 10 fatalities have been recorded linked to the use of an unknown drug. This information was reported by the Yle newspaper. Of these, 5 deaths occurred in the capital city.
Recently, Finnish public figures had warned about the spread of life-threatening opioid analgesic fentanyl tablets in the black market.
On April 26, the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction reported that the coronavirus pandemic has caused a sharp increase in drug-related crimes across Europe.
