Remains of Former Armenian National Team Basketball Player Found Six Months After War
Aram Mkrtchyan, a basketball player of the Artsakh club and a former member of the Armenian under-20 national team, heroically fell in battle while defending his homeland during the Artsakh war. This information has been confirmed by the press service of the Armenian Basketball Federation.
"His remains were found only six months after the war. For six months, all his friends and relatives waited for his return, but the miracle did not happen," the federation stated in a release.
The Armenian Basketball Federation extends its condolences to Aram's family, relatives, and friends in connection with his untimely death, as well as to the families of all victims of the war.
