Azeris Have Advanced a Few Meters and Added a Post: Mayor of Inner Khnzoresk
Just a while ago, MP Naira Zohrabyan reported that the residents of Khnzoresk claim that the Azerbaijanis, with their GPS in hand, have advanced several dozen meters forward.
Auroranews contacted the mayor of Inner Khnzoresk, Yervand Malunts, for additional details.
“They have added a post in Inner Khnzoresk and have advanced; according to their GPS, this section falls within their territory. Some of the villagers' own lands also remain within their territory,” noted the Khnzoresk mayor.
When asked how many meters they have advanced, he stated that he cannot say for certain. We inquired whether Armenian representatives are present on-site during such border adjustments, to which he replied that representatives from the Ministry of Defense are present.
In response to a clarifying question regarding how many farmers have found themselves in this situation and how they are assisting those farmers, he mentioned, “We are talking about dozens of farmers. I don’t know what will happen to those farmers; I cannot say yet.”
