Azerbaijan to Halt Public Transport due to COVID-19
Due to the situation related to the coronavirus, the quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended until June 1, as stated in the decision by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers. This has been reported by RIA Novosti.
"The special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended until June 1. This is reflected in the government's decision on 'Additional Measures Related to the Special Quarantine Regime,'" the statement from the headquarters noted.
According to the decision, public transport operations across the country will be halted from March 20 at 00:00 until March 29 at 06:00 (during the holiday period).
