Dilijan Turns Closed for Trucks with Trailers: Road Conditions in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has announced that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed, along with the roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari.
The Dilijan mountain pass is closed for trucks with trailers. The Berd-Chambarak road is difficult to navigate.
In Syunik Province, snowfall has been recorded. In Lori and Shirak Provinces, there are patches of black ice on the Maralik-Lanjik road and on the Zangakatun-Tigranashen road in Ararat Province, as well as on the Sisian-Zanger road in Syunik Province, and in certain areas of the Aparan and Aragats regions in Aragatsotn Province.
