Minister of Defense's Announcement on Renouncing Citizenship and Avoiding Military Service
Individuals who have renounced their citizenship of the Republic of Armenia will be removed from military registration according to the law. This is mentioned on the official website of the Ministry of Defense.
Citizens are required to present themselves at their military registration office (those who are not registered must go to their actual place of residence) for military registration as well as for conscription into mandatory military service. After the announcement of conscription for mandatory military service, all conscripts must appear at the military registration office where they are registered within the time specified in the notification.
Citizens released from military service must present themselves at their military registration office (those who are not registered must go to their actual place of residence) within seven days for military registration. In the event of a change of registration (those who are not registered must go to their actual place of residence), conscripts are required to present themselves at the appropriate military office for military registration within seven days after arriving at their new place of residence.
Individuals convicted during military service and who have served a prison sentence are required to appear at their military registration office (those who are not registered must go to their actual place of residence) within seven days from the moment of release from punishment. Conscripts must inform their military registration office (those who are not registered must go to their actual place of residence) within seven days about changes in their health status, family situation, registration location, education, workplace, and position.
