Three Russian Soldiers Wounded in Syria
A Russian military police armored vehicle was shelled in Idlib from an area controlled by Turkish-backed militant groups, resulting in minor injuries to three Russian soldiers. This was reported by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Rear Admiral Vyacheslav Sitnik, during a briefing.
“On December 21, at 15:45, during the security provision for the withdrawal of a Turkish observation post in the southeastern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone, a Russian military police armored vehicle, the BTR-82A, was shelled from an area controlled by Turkish-backed militant groups. As a result of the shelling, three Russian servicemen received minor injuries,” he stated.
