Turkey's Defense Minister Confirms Deployment of Soldiers to Azerbaijan

General and 35 other officers from the Turkish Armed Forces will serve in the ceasefire monitoring center in Nagorno-Karabakh, established jointly with Russia. This was announced by Turkey's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, according to TASS.

"Following the completion of construction and the operational launch of the joint center, our general and 35 officers will commence their service," Akar's words are quoted by the Anadolu Agency. The minister also confirmed that the Turkish servicemen, who will be involved in the operations of the Russo-Turkish center, have already departed for Azerbaijan.
