Looking Out the Window at the Heights of Shushi, I Cannot Comprehend that We Are No Longer There: Senor Hasratyan

Another difficult day is coming to an end. I am mentally depressed. I look out the window from my balcony at the heights of Shushi. The horizon spreading in dense darkness seems to gaze at me with foreign eyes.

It does not fit in my head that we are no longer there, that the Armenian fortress city is now in foreign hands... Whose fault is this tragedy—the 'traitorous' people or a premeditated betrayal?

For several nights now, I have not slept, and I do not know how I will sleep these nights and the ones to come...
