Armenian Weightlifters Win 26 Medals at European Championship

In the European Youth and U15 Championship of 2026, the Armenian national team has significantly improved its results from the previous year. This was reported by the Armenian Weightlifting Federation.

In the 2025 championship, Armenian athletes won a total of 13 medals: 6 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze, with the girls contributing 1 bronze medal.

At the 2026 championship, the Armenian team has already secured 26 medals: 7 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze. Thus, the total number of medals has doubled compared to last year, rising from 13 to 26.

A notable improvement has also been observed in the girls' category. This year, they have won 3 medals: 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
