The Victim and Seriously Injured in the Tragic Incident in Ejmiatsin Are Officers
Yesterday, a "Mazda" vehicle caught fire near the "Bisharyan" furniture showroom in the Zvartnoc district of Ejmiatsin, resulting in one fatality and three injuries, according to preliminary information.
As reported by Yerkir.am, it later became clear that the deceased was Lieutenant Colonel Hovik Kosakyan, a 57-year-old senior lecturer at the Artillery Faculty of the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University of the Republic of Armenia (photo: first on the left), while the injured include Ashot Shekikyan, a 58-year-old lecturer at the same military university (photo: first on the right), retired Colonel Pavel Topchyan, also a lecturer at the university, aged 57 (photo: in the center), and 36-year-old Gevorg Harutyunyan.
Firefighters discovered the charred body of Lieutenant Colonel Hovik Kosakyan in the vehicle, which had almost entirely turned to ashes after extinguishing the flames. More details can be found in the original source.
