Iranian Vessel Wrecks Near Azerbaijani Shores

An Iranian cargo ship has been involved in an accident in the coastal waters of the Caspian Sea near Azerbaijan. This was reported by РИА Новости.

The Azerbaijani State Maritime Agency has indicated that two helicopters from the country's Emergency Situations Ministry are currently working at the accident site.

"Today, at 14:10, the national center of the State Maritime Agency received a report about an accident involving the Iranian-flagged cargo ship 'Shabakeng' near the port of Lankaran. Two helicopters from the Emergency Situations Ministry have been dispatched to the scene of the incident," the agency stated in a communication.
