Contract Soldier Wounded by Enemy Fire in Tavush Province
On July 27, 2023, around 11:00 AM, another incident of ceasefire violation was recorded by the enemy in the northeastern part of the Republic of Armenia's state border, in Tavush Province, resulting in a gunshot wound to a contract soldier of the Armed Forces of Armenia who was on combat duty.
According to the Ministry of Defense's press service, the soldier's life is not in danger. “The latest provocative action by the Azerbaijani side once again confirms that the enemy continues to openly violate the ceasefire regime and deliberately escalate the situation in the border zone. The entire responsibility for the aggravation of the situation lies with the Azerbaijani side,” the Ministry of Defense stated in their communication.
