Jamoush: New Details Emerge About Soldier's Suicide Incident

The newspaper 'Jamoush' reports: 'As it is known, yesterday, conscript soldier Volodya Galoyan was found dead by suicide. It has come to light that the conscript had an altercation with his position commander and fired in his direction. According to our sources, the dispute between the conscript and the position commander was over an issue that arose before the soldiers ascended to their observation point. During this time, the position commander noticed that private Volodya Galoyan's pocket was swollen. The commander asked the soldier why his pocket was bulging and what was inside it. Soldier Galoyan replied that it was his military ID. The position commander then instructed him to empty his pocket, and while doing so, removed a phone from the soldier’s pocket, after which a confrontation ensued. Therefore, according to the preliminary hypothesis, it seems that a single phone prompted this young soldier to take his own life.'
