City Hall demands return of land adjacent to the Opera from café through court
The Yerevan City Hall has filed a civil lawsuit against "Magnolia" LLC, asking for the termination of the contract, the cessation of the registration of rights as a consequence, and for the community land plot to be vacated and returned to the municipality of Yerevan. This was reported by News.am.
The media outlet notes that the interests of the City Hall will be represented in court by the head of the legal department of the Yerevan City Hall, Zaven Arakelyan.
It is noteworthy that "Magnolia" LLC owns the "Shokoladnitsa" and "Magnolia" cafés, which operate in the vicinity of the Opera. The lease agreement of this LLC is valid until 2026.
In a conversation with the news outlet, the director of "Magnolia" LLC, Arsen Manukyan, stated that they have not yet received any notification from the court.
