“The issue of export volumes has been resolved. For example, we exported flowers to 28 countries, fruits to 24, and vegetables to 16. This is unprecedented in terms of the geography of our exports,” stated Gevorg Papoyan, Armenia's Minister of Economy, during the cabinet meeting.
He added that, compared to the previous year, the export of bottled cognac has increased by 19%, cognac spirits by 12%, wine by 8% less, fruits and vegetables by 1% less, canned goods by 18% more, and dried fruits and vegetables by 151% more, among others.
The minister noted that the most significant decline in exports occurred in flowers, totaling about 27%. If 39 million flowers were exported by August 1, 2025, the data for the same period this year shows only 30.1 million.
