This is Truly a Historic Opportunity: Statements Made by Azerbaijan Regarding Armenia

Trade and economic ties with Armenia have begun, and connectivity projects are developing. Since the Washington summit, we have essentially been living in conditions of peace. There has been no military escalation between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was stated by Elchin Amirbekov, the representative of the Azerbaijani President for Special Assignments, according to Azerbaijani media.

He noted that dialogue between governments and societies has continued, trade and economic ties have started, and projects in the fields of connectivity and communication are underway: “At the same time, our societies are expected to look towards a different future. This is truly a historic opportunity. However, peace is created not just through political agreements. Peace must become visible and tangible in places, in people's daily lives,” emphasized Elchin Amirbekov.
