The West Is Trying to Use Armenia as a Weapon Against Russia, Overchuk Says

The West is effectively trying to use Armenia as a weapon against Russia. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia emphasized that in this situation, Yerevan must determine whether it is allied with the RF or expects support from Western countries.

“If they (the Armenian side) believe that joining the EU will yield the same results, as they say, welcome, that is their right. However, they are either in the EAEU and our allies, in which case we support them, or they go there and expect support from those who are actually trying to use Armenia as a weapon against Russia,” Overchuk said in an interview with Vesti.
