Possible Visa Regime Limitation Will Be A Step Directed Not at Moscow, but at Yerevan, Says Zakharova
The possible imposition of a visa regime for Russian citizens by Armenia would be a step directed not at Moscow, but specifically against Yerevan, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the Eastern Economic Forum.
“If Armenia suddenly establishes visas, it would be not against us, but against its own citizens,” Zakharova told reporters.
She emphasized that this decision would also affect the many Russian citizens who have relatives in Armenia.
