The decision regarding Armenia's withdrawal from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) falls within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Commanders of the member states of the organization, but it will be essential to consider all circumstances. This was stated by CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas in an interview with TASS.

"The decision of the CSTO to remove Armenia or not is a decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council (CSTO), where the supreme commanders of our member states participate. That decision is within their domain. However, I believe that when making decisions, it is always necessary to consider all circumstances and factors," he noted.

As Zas mentioned, if the leadership of Armenia, particularly Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has announced this, then there are likely various agendas involved. "Politicians are there to raise such questions, elevate the degree of discussion, and then bring it down. We should not get ahead of events regarding Armenia's exit from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), as there is the opinion of the country's leadership, and there is the opinion of the Armenian people," emphasized the CSTO Secretary General.
