Robert Kocharian Transferred to Hospital: What We Know

After a court session that lasted around 7 hours, Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian has been transferred back to the hospital. The hearing regarding the detention request will continue without him.

"The session is ongoing. The doctors deemed it appropriate for him to be in the hospital and not present in the courtroom. His lawyers will continue; I believe the court will have a decision by morning," Levon Kocharian reported outside the Anti-Corruption Court.

Kocharian was moved to court from the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, where he was admitted yesterday due to a deterioration of his health condition during questioning by the Anti-Corruption Committee. He underwent heart stenting around two weeks ago.
