Today, on August 24, at 18:04, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 was recorded in Georgia, located 13 km west of the town of Dmanisi. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral area reached 4 points.

The earthquake was also felt in several settlements in Armenia. In the Shirak Province, the intensity reached 2-3 points in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, and Sizavet, as well as in the Lori Province's villages of Pagakhpyur, Dzunashogh, and Metsavan.
