Deceased Soldier Was Father of Two Children, Expecting Third

On August 24, in Sisian, soldier Hayk Movsisyan passed away, leaving behind two children as his family awaited the arrival of a third. This was reported by Sputnik Armenia, referencing its sources.

According to the media outlet, Movsisyan's wife, Narine, works in a shop. Local residents of Sisian described them as a traditional, religious family, noting that Hayk frequently participated in church services.

It has also been noted that the soldier had recently experienced severe losses, having lost both his father and mother to cancer. According to Sputnik Armenia, the community is in shock over the incident, and the circumstances surrounding his death are still being clarified.

It is important to remember that the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has confirmed the soldier's death. Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan stated that, based on preliminary information, the 37-year-old serviceman died from causes unrelated to his military service. A criminal case has been initiated concerning the incident.
